History

Rom Gummi-Service ApS was founded in 1983 by Leif Kristensen. The production was mainly customized products for the fishing industry – an industry that had trouble buying the necessary products for their cutters at that time. Leif Kristensen was in charge of the development of the new products that very fast gained recognition with the fishermen.

Today Rom Gummi is run and owned by Leif Kristensen’s son, Jesper. He took over in March 2008 and is continuing with the niche production.

The present Rom Gummi is an interesting company and place to work. We are Europe’s leading supplier of rubber products for the industries that we service. Not only in the fishing industry, but also within the industry we have developed a niche production. Along with this, we do projects for offshore.

In 2009 the company changed name to RG Rom Gummi.
